Week 05. After two beautiful weeks with family and friends in the Netherlands and Milan, it is time to prepare for 2024.
I wrote strictly the necessary to maintain a rhythm during the festive season. Luckily it wasn’t only ‘cricket noise’ on Linkedin. Some interesting interactions happened:
- The post “Doubt is a Driver for Success” was used and enhanced by Niko Manoukian
- The ‘deeper’ posts start to get more comments. This encourages me to write more original content instead of hitchhiking on ‘memes’.

Learnings from this week:
- Timing is more important than the quality of the content, according to Marc de Graaf.
- I’ve started to build up a larger pool of post ideas.
- My original plan was to write a larger text every 3-4 weeks, and post small fragments out of those on a daily basis. I find that hard to do, as I’m still training myself in my writing. It’s easier to write a small daily post. I guess it will take some more patience before I can write longer, coherent texts.
Next week I will:
- experiment more with different posting formats to offer value content (carrousels, video, etc.)
- experiment with different times of posting: same kind of content, yet at different times of the day.
- start introducing topics that are more related to my evolving eBook “Power Up with Purpose” and the Strategic Business & Brand Alignment canvas. I’ll make them available via the visionyzer.com website.
